Small Rabbit Hutch and Run Packages

Our Villa Hutch and Run package combines the two-storey Villa Hutch with the spacious Villa Run, creating a safe and comfortable setup for one or two small rabbits. The long run provides plenty of outdoor space for exercise and fresh air. It also features a removable end panel and easy hook attachment, so you can detach the run and use it separately around your yard whenever needed.

Large Rabbit Hutch and Run Packages

Our Mansion Hutch and Run and Cabana Hutch and Run packages are larger setups, perfect for six or more rabbits. The runs attach securely to the hutch with screws, providing a permanent, spacious extension that keeps your bunnies safe and healthy. These packages are ideal for larger yards where rabbits can enjoy plenty of room to hop and explore.

Why Choose Somerzby’s Rabbit Hutches and Runs?

Spacious Design for Longer Stays

Our hutch and run packages give your rabbit plenty of outdoor space to hop, explore and exercise safely. With more room built in from the start, your bunny doesn’t need to be let out as often, and you won’t need to buy an extension later if your hutch feels too small.

Secure from Predators

All our runs feature sturdy wire mesh on the sides to keep out predators such as cats, mice and birds. This ensures your rabbit can enjoy the outdoor space safely without constant supervision. The secure design gives you peace of mind while your bunny plays.

Chew-Safe Wood

All Somerzby hutch and run packages are made from Chinese fir, a soft timber coated with non-toxic, water-based stain. We know rabbits love to chew, which is healthy for their teeth, and our hutch and run materials are completely safe for them to nibble.

FAQ

How do you connect a rabbit hutch to a run?

To connect a rabbit hutch to a run, leave one short end of the run open during assembly and align it with a door or opening on the hutch. For timber hutches, secure the run with screws. For plastic or metal designs, use sturdy cable ties.

Can rabbits stay in a hutch all day?

Rabbits can stay in a hutch for most of the day if it’s a suitable size, but they still need at least one hour of daily exercise in a secure yard or rabbit-proof area of your home. This time outside the hutch provides both physical activity and important mental stimulation.

Should you cover your rabbit’s cage at night?

You don’t usually need to cover your rabbit’s cage at night, but it can help keep out cold air on very chilly winter evenings. If you do cover it, make sure to leave part of the cage uncovered to allow for proper airflow and ventilation.

How much space does a rabbit need in a hutch?

As a general guide, a rabbit hutch should be at least 1m² if your rabbit gets daily exercise for an hour or more in a larger yard. If your rabbit spends most of its time inside the hutch, choose one that’s at least 2.5m² to ensure enough room to move, stretch and stay comfortable.

What is the 3 hop rule for rabbits?

The 3-hop rule means your rabbit’s enclosure should be at least three hops long to provide enough room for exercising, stretching and comfortable movement. This is the minimum recommendation, and giving your rabbit extra space will help keep them happier and healthier.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY

We don’t like to brag, but we don’t mind when our customers do! Here is some recent feedback from Google Reviews and Product Review from Aussie pet owners.

The enclosure I bought was just right. My whole experience with Somerzby was easy and professional and I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Mary Goldstiver / February 2026

The prices for this crate are beyond excellent and will be recommending them to others. The crates are well made and exceptionally reasonably priced compared to others that are overpriced.

Renee Hatton / January 2026

It is a great cage. Service was excellent. Would definitely purchase from Somerzby again.
